Literary Awards in India 2022

literature award winning books

Literary awards in India are not limited to Sahitya Akademi Awards or JCB Literary Prize. For even though they are prestigious honours, regional languages often go unrecognised and authors are left unknown to the majority of the population. Here’s a list of lesser-known but distinguished literary awards honouring long-standing literary icons of Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam, etc. languages.

We encourage you to buy books from a local bookstore. If that is not possible, please use the links on the page and support us. Thank you.
